A Photo Shoot {with the Surber family}

I really need to get caught up on sharing some of my recent photography work here on the blog and I thought I'd start with this beautiful family. I think you'll really love this shoot as it's the perfect little holiday family session in festive colors and dressy outfits, so warm and fuzzy. And just right for our long weekend and all the Christmas fun coming our way.

Everything about this afternoon was perfect. I want one just like it! :) Here are my favorites ...
Thank you Hollie and family. It was a pleasure. Much love ... and happy thanksgiving everyone! xoxo

Pictures from our Wreath Workshop

Hello! Hope you had a fun pre-holiday weekend. Green Bay surprised me with all sorts of Christmas-y activities last weekend, things like tree lighting ceremonies and Christmas parades. Meanwhile, I met up with about 20 ladies for our wreath making workshop at the ArtGarage and it was amazing. I have loads of pictures to share with you so buckle down with a cup of tea and Gilmore Girls, just like me right now, and we'll get started!

The entire afternoon was so fabulous. We had lots of treats from Hey Sugar! to munch on. The flavors? Chocolate Salted Caramel (regular and paleo), Black Forrest, Frosted Cranberry Orange (gluten free), Gingerbread, Peppermint Latte (regular and gluten free), and a Pumpkin Pecan. Amazing right? I decorated the table with sequins and rhinestones and we added flowers to vases with chargers on top holding our cupcakes. I thought an event like this called for mismatched vintage plates and coffee mugs, in lots of floral patterns. So pretty.
Sunny had all our wreath supplies laid out at each place setting and they looked so lovely even untouched. I dipped some feathers in glitter and brought them along, just for those that might want to add a little bohemian "fluff" to their creation.

And soon we were all listening eagerly as Sunny began her tutorial and we tried to follow along. I know that some of our attendees were a little nervous to try crafting with flowers and even still had such a relaxing and fun time. If you've ever considered coming but have backed out due to the fact that you don't have a crafty bone in your body, well, I really think you'll enjoy it still. No pressure, just fun. Sounds good right?
And here's a look at all of our finished wreaths (plus a few posers)!
These girls (above) were such a huge help to me that morning. Thank you Ashley, Holly, and Ciara. You are soooo appreciated. Couldn't have made that set up happen without you there.

And a huge thank you to Sunny with Ebb and Flow Flowers who makes these workshops possible for me to pull off and allows for such a truly beautiful experience.

Thank you to Heather and Amanda, for baking your hearts out and bringing so many goodies for us to sample. Friends, you can finally check out Hey Sugar! on Facebook (here). Yay! Be sure to check out their Thanksgiving specials.

Thank you so much to the ArtGarage for hosting!

And lastly, thank you to all the wonderful ladies who came out to our second floral workshop. We appreciate you being a part of this event so much. Hope to see you again and would love to hear your feedback. Friends, we will be planning one for the spring time, so please let me know if you have any DIY ideas that you're just dying to learn.
