Mama Style {brown boots}

I've been wearing these brown riding boots to the ground this fall. They're from several winters ago and have proven to be a really great purchase (well, actually they were a Christmas gift from my mom, so thanks mom!). Here's a couple of ways I've worn them this week.

Tomorrow I'm heading to Austin for a cousin's wedding and I'm so excited to get away with my sisters and my parents for the weekend. It's been ages since I've seen all of my dad's side of the family and in a place like Austin, it's sure to be a blast. So have a lovely weekend friends and enjoy the beautiful weather. There's so much to love about this season! 

A Photo Shoot {apple picking}

I met up with these two, OnnaLiese and James, for an afternoon of apple picking. Everything about this was perfect, the weather, the outfits, the gorgeous little people. OnnaLiese is one of my ballet students and she also rides with us to school in the mornings, so I have a soft spot for her. Think she's the perfect match for my Parker but well, I'm getting a little ahead of myself. :)

Sunday Best {black and tan}

The weekend was lovely. I bought my first tiny batch of pumpkins and gourds and hope to start decorating the house for fall. I also made a stop by the apple orchard for a photo shoot and it was just so perfect. My two littles are heading there for a field trip this week, so I hope join them and bring home a new batch of apples for wrapping in caramel. Elliot's birthday party is just around the corner, so we have 2 weeks to cover this house in pumpkins and colorful leaves. Better get crackin'!

Grabbed my plaid today; it just felt right. And it's gonna keep happening from now until December 25th. Plaid, plaid, plaid - as much as I can!

YOU Magazine Fashion Shoot

I recently had an article published in Green Bay's YOU Magazine and I thought I'd share the photos that I took for that article, waaaaay back in mid-August. It was a hot summer's day and we were all sweating in our fancy fall frocks. But the girls were wonderful to work with and looked gorgeous in their outfits, all selected from local boutiques.

The article was all about trying new color for fall, specifically plum, smoke, sapphire and camel. 

If you're from the area, go check out these lovely little spots and support your local boutiques. GB fashion has come a long way since 2000, the year I first moved to this city (came back here again in 2006). There are some really beautiful places  to shop for those of us crazy about clothes and shoes and jewelry and hats and sunglasses and ... well, you know.

A Photo Shoot {the Beyer family}

I have another family photo shoot to share with you today, this time featuring the Beyer fam. This little session went absolutely perfectly and the water, trees, bugs and sunlight all came to life that afternoon, allowing us to create some beautiful moments to keep forever. Plus these 3 girls ... goodness, they were adorable! Here are a few of my favorites.
