"What I'd Wear" Series - Part 3

{To a New Year's Eve Party!}

Once again, I'm wearing one of my absolute favorites ... an ocean hued dress. I have a deep fixation with gorgeous blue and green gowns, whether above the knee or floor sweeping, those that shimmer and sway in chiffons and silks (I recently wore an adored pleated green dress here). I just had to try this little stunner, completely worthy of a New Year's Eve night on the town; dinner and dancing perhaps? I think it would be perfect with a pair of tall black pumps, platform and all (never mind that snow!)
Love those pretty butterfly sleeves.

And a dress like this just has to be topped off by a little fluffy jacket, especially for those of us frolicking through the winter snow on the last eve of the year. I loved the playfulness of this one, yet so chic and warm.
 {All Clothing - Besselli}
dress - Brooke/Tassoul - $138
tights - Free People - $28
jacket - $124
ring - my own Target

Now, to be completely put together from head to toe, I might change out my tights for a sheer black pair, add the heels, and of course (!) decorate with a few delicate jewels to add some glam. I picked out a few perfect items from piperlime, the icing on the cake. Several are vintage inspired and they're fairly understated. Not looking for anything too sparkly with this particular outfit (I know ... can you believe it?).
Juicy Couture $48
Juicy Couture $58
Kenneth Cole  $38
But if you're looking for just a bit of drama, these chandeliers would be perfect too and are so beautiful.
Juicy Couture $78

I hope you enjoyed this little foray into boutique shopping and the fun little outfits you can dream up on an unlimited budget. And thanks again to Besselli for the opportunity to be a hooligan in their store.

Just 2 days left to enter the Holiday Giveaway, so make sure you do! A necklace and a pair of ear rings may arrive to you as an after Christmas present.

Off to see another Christmas play this morning, with my biggest boy as one of the 3 wise men (the lines of which I have yet to hear) and Mr. middle as a singing star (both will have microphones). It's going to be crazy fun!
