My LBD {long black dress}

Good morning friends! Our new week starts off with a fun day for us, as we're enjoying a spring break family day with the kids. We had a really relaxing weekend together too and I was even able to have a bit of time to just chill with a few mags at Barnes and Noble, in-between taking the little ones for hair cuts and doing a bit of "research" for an upcoming Q & A with You Magazine (a women's mag here in GB). Not sure about the details on that, but I'll keep you up to date on any news.

And now, on the heels of a time change and our longer days a-brewing, I'm just itching with the spring cleaning bug. I have a long list of things I want/need to do around the house and though manual labor is never much fun, I can't wait to check these off of my list. Among them, carpets shampooed, fresh coat of paint over all the little nicks around this house, a good clean out of the basement and garage which always become so icky in the winter with all that snow and salt being trudged through. And a few purchases in the future perhaps? Fabric to sew a few new pillow covers, butterflies for my art wall, a trip to Ikea perhaps? And there's a great spring-y wall decal heading my way from CSN stores that will liven up a wall. (I'll be doing a review for CSN in the next couple of weeks to let you know what I think.)

A have photos here of my new dress from our downtown antique store. I was drawn to the Missoni like print at the hem and the ancient label which boasted that it was made in Italy, the sign of a quality dress. Yes?  And hard to resist at a great price!

  2. Where in Green Bay did you get it? I'm about an hour north of there and I'm eager to hear about the good places to go...my teens only want to hit the malls when we're there!

  3. Thanks girls!
    Sweetanniesjewelry - "Somewhere in Time" is an antique mall on Broadway downtown. It's incredible! And right across the road is a beautiful boutique called Besselli. You should definitely drop by.
