My little Ro participated in a children's run over the weekend with his cousins and many of our friend's kids and our family had a lovely time cheering him on that beautiful summery afternoon. Here are a few pictures from our evening at the run, followed by some party time in the park, and a relaxing walk home as the sun set behind the trees casting all sorts of golden rays through the branches (which had me itching for my camera).
We lined the street to cheer for the runners as they came by. It's so awesome to see how fast some of those munchkins can go! And the mom who ran with her jogging stroller full and a child on her hips (guess he just couldn't make it to the end) made me tear up a bit. Moms are so stinking incredible.
