Back to School Style {for the Green Bay Press Gazette}

I photographed these 3 sweeties for a special Back to School insert of our local paper, the Green Bay Press Gazette. Not easy thinking about heading back to school at the beginning of June (when we shot this) but it's easier than thinking about it now, just 6 weeks out! I dread it. Summer is just so fabulous.

So I decided to focus on taking some of our summer faves, her bright embroidered dress and those gladiator sandals or his classic summer stripes, and make them work for their first week back to school. No one actually wants to say goodbye to these deliciously warm, lazy days when those first school days roll around again, not even a goodbye to our fair weather clothes. So for me, layering them and remixing them as long as possible is key … and cute! Or as the article says, " … totally Instagram worthy!" ;)

A few other featured trends: I'm really digging these slouchy/skinny pants for boys; just so cool. My guys have a casual and even church appropriate variety for the fall/winter ahead. And still loving the baseball jacket for our little men. For your little lady, I'm mimicking what I'm excited about for mommy, white jackets for fall. Yes please!
