Holiday Home Tour {with Erin Hanson}

Happy Sunday friends! Today I have a special treat, a very Christmas-y and beautiful home tour. I stopped by Erin's home this week, a new friend (her little lady takes ballet lessons from me) and a local photographer and shop owner, and I'm so happy that I asked her to allow us to take a look because her home is just so gorgeous. From the moment you step inside, you're met with an inviting warmth that comes from that delicious mix of rustic antiques and romantic textiles, soft colors and lots of candles.

Erin is the mother of 2 adorable little girls, Lucy and Ruby, and she's also the artist behind Erin Jean Photo, a photographer doing truly exquisite work. Not only that, she is also the co-owner (along with Jessi and Matt) of a store called Rooted Salvadge and Design, which is an online industrial home decor store (with a pop up shop opening in Door County this summer) that specializes in finding vintage pieces and giving them new life with their own "artistic twist". They have some really great pieces, be sure to take a look!

I wish that I had taken the time to do a little Q & A for this post. (And my apologies for not being more organized. I had the idea and photographed her space and then it was 3 days before Christmas with no time left on my hands!) But we did chat about her home and all that her and her husband had done to the house and I'll share what I remember from our convo. Erin told me to look out for a farm house, and so I expected not only a "farm house" but cows and chickens and the like! And though their home was nestled closely between 2 others, I can see where it draws its name. Wish I'd grabbed a shot of the outside but it has a sweet porch and rocking chair and the lovely charm of 2 stories. Well over 100 years old, they have done loads and loads of work on this space in the 4 and a half years that they've called it home. Gutting walls to allow for that lovely open floor plan, renovating the kitchen and adding all the finishing touches, not to mention the current bathroom reno. It's fantastic you guys. Please enjoy!

(Scarlet took this tour with me, so sorry, she sneaked in a few of the pics too ;)
Isn't it magical? Thank you Erin for allowing us to take a look!
